Would you be kind enough to forward more info on your lamb and rice LR20 diet?

We have a 9 year old Labrador who has developed a number of bald patches on her coat, we're told a change to a Lamb and Rice diet could prove effective?

Many thanks Ann for such a prompt reply. Our vet did mention it could be a hormonal thing but advised us to try this change of diet first, with a shampoo once a week, plus some capsules she prescribed. We've been feeding her on **** ***, not realising it should now become a senior dog food, with less protein. She never suggested any tests though for this hormonal imbalance, as she (Cindy, the bitch<g>) is speyed. Presumably they can check that? She was possibly keeping the cost low ;-> by comparison with any lab work ups which may be required?

Many thanks Ann. It's such a refreshing change for a company to reply to an E-mail, let alone the same day:) I certainly will keep you informed, albeit likely to take some time I imagine, before we see a result.

If you're able to receive attachments (Virus free I assure you<g>) I can pop you a picture of her but I know some companies don't welcome them, perchance they could be infected.

You'll be happy to know your agent in Lancaster gave us a very good grounding on the benefits of the LR20 food.

I'll keep you informed as to how she goes on...so far so good...we've given her two meals now, half and half, half her previous food and half your Lamb and Rice and she's taken to it well. Next week she'll be on your lamb and rice diet entirely. Labs are such greedy dogs aren't they?

Hello once again Ann, I'm very happy to say, the food, along with the hormone treatment capsules we got from the Vet, for the balding patches on Cindy's coat has already been 20% successful at least. Very obvious signs of hair re-growing in all the areas affected and she's taken to the food with not the slightest problem. It's only 3 weeks since we started her on your lamb and rice diet, so there's every chance she'll continue improving. I'll drop you a line to keep you up to date with further improvements.

Hi Ann,

Just a line to wish you and your company all the best, a little belatedly (apologies) but since your food has resurrected Cindy's coat completely, we can't thank you enough. She looks better now than at any time since she was younger, ( She's over nine years old now) her coat is very glossy and completely covered in all the places where it was altogether bald. The transformation is wonderful.
